Welcome to Clear Creek Conservancy District Clear Creek Conservancy District...Working Harder for Our Residents!

Clear Creek Conservancy District was established in 1971 to provide wastewater collection and treatment in the Heritage Lake subdivisions of Gettysburg, Jefferson Valley, Lincoln Hills, Mill Springs, Patriots Landing and Victory Hill in Putnam County, Indiana. Prior to 2002, new homes built in areas not served by the collection system were required to install holding tanks for which the district utilized a pump and haul system. As the collection system was constructed, the holding tanks or in a very few cases, septic systems installed prior to the district's establishment, were removed or abandoned.

The district also maintains the dam and spillway of Heritage Lake.  The principal concrete spillway was renovated in late 2018 and maintenance to clean and seal will be conducted from time to time.

Please contact the district by leaving a phone message or by email.

The district does not staff regular office hours.

For sewer emergencies such as a flashing white or red light at a lift station or sewage spill,
please call the Emergency Line 24/7 at 765-721-6752.
